Richard Grimm-Sachsenberg
Richard Grimm-Sachsenberg , born Richard Grimm , (born February 22, 1873 in Untersachsenberg ; † June 6, 1952 in Leipzig ) was a German painter, etcher and engraver.
Live and act
Grimm-Sachsenberg attended the Dresden Art Academy from 1892 and then went to Munich, where his first works appeared in the “ Fliegende Blätter ”, “ Simplicissimus ” and “ Jugend ”. In 1901 he settled in Leipzig as a draftsman and etcher. He illustrated numerous books and later also worked as a type artist .
