Richard LeParmentier
Richard LeParmentier (born July 16, 1946 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , † April 15, 2013 ) was an American actor and screenwriter .
Career
LeParmentier moved to Great Britain in 1974 , where he began an acting career. His first feature film was Stardust , starring alongside rock musicians David Essex , Dave Edmunds and Keith Moon . After the action film Rollerball , he played Admiral Motti in Star Wars . This was followed by guest appearances in television series such as Die Profis and Mondbasis Alpha 1 . In the 1980s he made appearances in Superman II - Alone Against All , James Bond 007 - Octopussy and Wrong Game with Roger Rabbit .
In the 1990s he worked as a screenwriter and wrote episodes for the television series The Bill , Boone and Love Hurts .
