Richard Schlueter
Richard Schlueter (* 1943 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
From 1965 to 1972 Schlüter studied philosophy , Catholic theology and ecumenical theology in Frankfurt am Main , Tübingen and Münster . From 1969 to 1972 he was a fellow of the Cusanuswerk and from 1972 to 1973 lecturer for theology at Herder Verlag . After receiving his doctorate in 1973 as Dr. theol. In Münster from 1973 to 1985 he was a research assistant and lecturer in the subject of Catholic theology at the University of Paderborn , part-time religion teacher at a secondary school and technical college, advanced studies in pedagogy and religious education . After receiving his doctorate in 1982 as Dr. phil. In 1985 in Frankfurt am Main he became professor for practical and ecumenical theology in Siegen . From 1988 to 1997 he was a member of the missio commission of the Archdiocese of Paderborn and from 1990 to 1995 he was a member and scientific advisor of the curriculum commission for Catholic religious studies at secondary schools in North Rhine-Westphalia. From 1994 to 1998 he was chairman of the working group of Catholic religious educators at universities in German-speaking countries. From 1995 to 1998 he was dean of Faculty 1. From 2000 to 2003 he was the DFG's deputy reviewer in the field of practical theology / religious education.
His main research interests are interreligious and ecumenical learning and practical theological fields of action for Christian ecumenism.
