Richard Siefken

Richard Johannes Siefken (born September 28, 1904 , † February 26, 1966 ) was state superintendent of the East Friesland-Ems district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover .

Life

After studying Protestant theology, Siefken was ordained in Aurich on October 19, 1930 and introduced as a parish collaborator in Bad Essen . From 1932 to 1954 he was pastor in Holtland . The church senate appointed him with effect from March 1, 1954 as state superintendent for the district of East Friesland. He died in 1966 at the age of only 62.

From 1960 to 1962 Siefken was the first chairman of the board of the Evangelical Village Helpers in Lower Saxony .
