Richard Wellmann (politician)

Richard Wellmann (born May 28, 1830 - October 21, 1910 ) was a German officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Richard Wellmann studied at the University of Greifswald . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Pomerania Greifswald . After graduating, he entered the service of the Prussian Army . At the time of his mandate he was a captain in Crossen (Oder) . Later he was a major and state economist. Most recently he lived as a pensioner in Kreuzburg in Upper Silesia .

From 1867 to 1870 Wellmann was a member of the Prussian MP for the constituency of Frankfurt 6 (Züllichau-Schwiebus, Crossen) . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party .
