Richard Zimmer (General)

Richard Zimmer (born June 21, 1893 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † June 20, 1971 in Mittenwald ) was a German lieutenant general in World War II who, as commander of the 17th Infantry Division , received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on October 16, 1944 .
