Wend Botho Richard Graf zu Eulenburg (-Prassen) (born January 12, 1838 in Prassen ; † July 13, 1909 there ) was a Prussian landowner and politician, member of the Prussian manor house .

origin

Richard zu Eulenburg came from the Eulenburg family . His parents were the landlord Wend Botho Elimar, Count of Eulenburg (1808–1849) and Bertha Caroline Julie, Countess of Dohna-Schlodien (1813–1893), sister of the manor house member Karl zu Dohna-Schlodien .

family

He was married to Euphemie von Tschirschky-Reichell (1846-1924), daughter of the manor house member Benno von Tschirschky-Reichell . The couple married in Breslau on October 3, 1868 and had three sons and four daughters:

After the early death of the first-born son Elimar, the second-born son Friedrich zu Eulenburg-Wicken (1874–1937), later also a member of the mansion, became heir .

Life

Eulenburg was the majority owner of Lenneburg-Prassen, a 14,000- acre manor. He was Prime Lieutenant of the Leibcurassier Regiment (1st Silesian) and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John . In 1907 he was given the ceremonial title of Landhofmeister in Prussia. From 1885 until his death in 1909, Eulenburg was a member of the Prussian manor house , initially at the presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Samland and Natangen district , and since 1907 in his function as the land steward.
