Fritz von Eulenburg

Friedrich "Fritz" Botho Wend Eberhard Graf zu Eulenburg (born April 13, 1874 in Breslau ; † March 20, 1937 in Wittenberg ) was a German manor owner and politician .

Life

Fritz von Eulenburg attended the University of Bonn and became a member of the Corps Borussia there in 1892 . After completing his studies, he was the owner of Fideikommiss in Prassen in the Rastenburg district in East Prussia , master of Döhrings and Romsdorf and master of the Schlanz Fideikommiss in the Breslau district . He took part in the First World War as Rittmeister of the Reserve and was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd and 1st class.

From 1910 to 1918 Eulenburg was a member of the Prussian manor house . In 1921 he was a deputy member of the liquidation office for family estates in Königsberg . He was General Landschaftsrat in East Prussia, deputy member of the Reichsrat , member of the Provincial Committee and from 1919 to 1933 for the DNVP of the Provincial Parliament of East Prussia as well as a member of the district committee and the district assembly of Rastenburg.

Eulenburg was also deputy chairman of Ostpreußenwerke AG (from 1923 part of VIAG ), chairman of the supervisory board of the Rastenburg sugar factory and member of the board of directors and board of trustees of the Bank of the East Prussian Landscape .

He was chairman of the family association of the Counts of Eulenburg .
