The Richmond River is a river on the coast in eastern Dominica in the Parish Saint David .

geography

The Richmond River arises from two source streams that arise in the south of the summit of Morne La Source in the Carib Territory or on the ridge between Morne La Source and Morne Fraser ( ). On the opposite side of the watershed (in the west) the catchment area of the Pagua River joins the Charles Warner River . At Cacao Richmond the source streams unite and the river continues in a winding course to the east, where it flows into the Atlantic south of Richmond Estate in the Anse Français (north of the Wakaman Pointe ). The river is about 3.6 km long.

To the south borders the catchment area of the Castle Bruce River . At Senhouse , the river almost approaches the smaller Wakaman River .
