Rick Gulyas (born December 15, 1952 in Welland ) is a retired Canadian ski jumper .
Career
Gulyas made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament 1971/72 . After a poor 91st place in the opening competition on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck , he was able to jump to 76th place in the New Year's competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . After another weak competition in Oberstdorf , he finished the tour with 64th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen . After this was his best individual result, he finished the tour in 78th place overall.
At the following 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , he was 49th in jumping from the normal hill after the first round, but was able to improve to 48th place with a good performance in the second round.
