Rick Vito (born October 13, 1949 in Darby , Pennsylvania ) is an American guitarist .

He made a name for himself primarily in the area of ​​the blues , but he also enjoys working in other areas and with other artists. In the 1970s he played four albums with John Mayall . From 1987 to 1992 he was temporarily guitarist with the band Fleetwood Mac , where he and Billy Burnette replaced Lindsey Buckingham , who was temporarily not in the band .
