The Riedbach is a nearly one kilometer long stream in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart , which, coming from the north-west, flows into the Springsbach from the left .
course
The Riedbach rises in the northwestern Maindreieck on the Marktheidenfelder Platte in the natural area 133.01 Zellingen-Thüngersheim valley widening west of Zellingen at an altitude of about 205 m above sea level. NHN on the northern slope of the Kirchberg ( 203 m ), the eastern spur of the Springshöhe ( 219 m ) from the Wildbrunn .
Strongly straightened, it initially flows almost 400 m southeast through the Riedwiesen corridor , accompanied by an initially lush, but then sparse tree gallery through an agricultural zone, then crosses a field path, then runs at the southwest foot of the Lerlachshöhe ( 212 m ) in the Das corridor ried by a Kleingartenanlage two small ponds by and finally opens at an altitude of about 182 m with two other small ponds on the southwestern edge of Zellingen about 200 m west-southwest of Riedmühle from the left in the zoom flowing from the southwest Gespringsbach .
