The Riedholzer Kugel is 1065.6  m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the north end of the Allgäu Alps in the northeast of the district of Lindau (Bodensee) in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .

The mountain is located about 6.5 kilometers south-south-east of Isny , two kilometers south-east of Maierhöfen and a little east -south- east of the Riedholz district of the municipality of Maierhöfen. Its southwestern branch is the Iberg (approx.  960  m above sea level ) and its northeastern secondary summit is the Iberger Kugel (approx.  1050  m above sea level ).

The Eistobel , a gorge of the Obere Argen river with the nature reserve of the same name, extends at the western foot of the Riedholzer Kugel .
