The Rifugio Alfredo Rivetti (often just Rifugio Rivetti ) is a refuge in the Italian region of Piedmont in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 2150 m within the municipality of Andorno Micca and belongs to the CAI - Biella section . The hut is usually open from mid-June to mid-September, and only on weekends between mid-May and mid-October. It offers beds for 58 climbers.
Accesses
You can reach the hut from the valley town of Piedicavallo in about three hours of ascent. The Grande Traversata delle Alpi long-distance hiking trail leads past the hut, which it also serves as a base.
