The Rifugio Oratorio di Cunéy (Italian) or Refuge-oratoire de Cunéy (French) (also Italian for short Rifugio Cuney or French Refuge du Cunéy ) is a refuge in the Aosta Valley in the Valais Alps . It is located at an altitude of 2,652 m in the Saint-Barthélemy side valley near the Cunéy Alm within the municipality of Nus . The hut is managed from the end of June to mid-September and offers 27 mountaineers sleeping places.

Ascent
The refuge can be reached within 3¼ hours from the parking lot in Lignan . Alternatively, you can park in the village of Porliod , from where the ascent time is 3 hours.
history
In 1982, the first temporary shelter for pilgrims on the way to the Cunéy Chapel, a Lady Chapel from the 17th century, was built. The refuge in its current appearance was inaugurated in 1994.
