The Right Angle Peak (English for right-angle tip ) is a small mountain in West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . In the Jones Mountains , it looms between Snowplume Peak and Camelback Ridge .
A team from the University of Minnesota , who worked in the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961, named him. It is named after the fact that the profile of the mountain is reminiscent of a right angle when viewed from the north .
