Rik Ceulemans (born September 14, 1972 in Hasselt ) is a former Belgian long-distance runner .

So far Ceulemans has won 13 national titles: one in cross-country running ( 2007) and four each in the half marathon (2003-2007), marathon (2002-2004, 2007) and mountain running (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007). His best half marathon time is 1:02:07 h, recorded on September 19, 2004 in Brussels , his marathon best time 2:13:42, achieved twelfth at the 2003 Amsterdam Marathon .

His greatest success so far is his victory at the Brussels Marathon in 2008, when he defeated the high favorite Willy Cheruiyot Kipkirui in stormy conditions . Just two months earlier he finished third in the Siberian International Marathon (SIM) in Omsk. He finished his competitive sports career in 2009 with a successful second place in the Brussels Marathon.

Ceulemans is 1.76 meters tall and weighs 58 kg. He was trained by Luc Rutten and started for the Atletiekclub De Demer .
