Rikke Hørlykke (born May 2, 1976 ) is a former Danish handball player .
Career
Hørlykke started playing handball at Ballerup HK. After the backcourt player then ran up for Værløse HK and Virum-Sorgenfri HK , she moved to the German Bundesliga club TV Lützellinden in 1998 . In 1999 she celebrated winning the DHB Cup with Lützellinden . In the same year Hørlykke returned to Denmark and played there the next three seasons at FIF. From 2002 to 2004 the right-hander threw her goals for GOG . In 2004 she signed a contract with Slagelse FH . With Slagelse she won the championship and the EHF Champions League in 2005 . When Hørlykke became pregnant in 2006, she had her contract with Slagelse terminated. In February 2011 she made a short comeback at the relegation-threatened first division club FIF. From January 2012 Hørlykke ran for Virum-Sorgenfri HK. With Virum-Sorgenfri, she rose to the 1st Division, the second highest Danish division, after the 2011/12 season. After the 2012/13 season, she ended her career.
Hørlykke played 125 international matches for the Danish national women's handball team , in which they scored 234 goals. With Denmark she won the Olympic gold medal in 2004 and the European championship in 2002 .
Rikke Hørlykke is married to the handball player Klavs Bruun Jørgensen .
Hørlykke works as a youth coach at Virum-Sorgefri HK.
