Rimke Braakman (born March 22, 1991 in Westwoud ) is a Dutch beach volleyball player .

Career

Braakman was the Dutch U18 champion in 2007 and 2008. At the 2008 World Youth Championships in The Hague, she reached the final with Sophie van Gestel . A year later in Alanya with Jolien Sinnema it was only enough for 19th place in this competition. Braakman / Sinnema finished the U20 European Championships in 2009 in Greece and 2010 in Catania in ninth and fourth.

Braakman first appeared at the Marseille Open in 2010 with her new partner Michelle Stiekema . In the same year she was ninth with van Gestel at the Junior World Championships in Alanya. In 2011 Braakman / Stiekema won the U23 European Championship in Porto . In August the Dutch played at the European Championships in Kristiansand , where they lost 2-1 to the new European champions Cicolari / Menegatti in the round of 16 .

In 2013/14 Braakman played with Jantine van der Vlist and in 2015/16 again with Jolien Sinnema . She ended her beach volleyball career in August 2016.
