Jantine van der Vlist (born October 30, 1985 in Wageningen ) is a Dutch volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career
Van der Vlist began her career as an indoor volleyball player in 1997 in the second division at Scylla Wageningen . In the 2004/05 season she played a league higher at Armixtos Amsterdam before arriving at Alterno Apeldoorn in the first division. In 2007 she moved to AMVJ Amstelveen and became Dutch runner-up twice in a row.
In 2008 she completed her first international beach volleyball tournament with Roos van der Hoeven at the Marseille Open . At the 2010 European Championships in Berlin, the Dutch were eliminated as the bottom group after the preliminary round. She later reached the top ten of an open tournament for the first time in seventh place in Phuket . The 2011 World Cup in Rome ended again without a win in the group stage. After the Grand Slam in Stare Jabłonki they ended their collaboration. Van der Vlist played in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee for the first time with Merel Mooren , with whom she was eliminated in the second round of the European Championships in Kristiansand against the German Köhler / Sude . In 2013 she first played with Marloes Wesselink . At the Grand Slam in The Hague , van der Vlist / Wesselink reached the semi-finals. At the World Championships in Stare Jabłonki they were eliminated after the preliminary round despite a victory over the Lithuanians Dumbauskaitė / Povilaitytė . From August 2013 to September 2014 van der Vlist played with Rimke Braakman . In 2015 and 2016 Sophie van Gestel was her partner. Van der Vlist / van Gestel took part in the 2015 World Cup in their own country and finished fourth in the Grand Slam in Olsztyn . In 2016 they won the Continental Cup and were able to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where they were eliminated without a win after the preliminary round. Van der Vlist ended her international career in October 2016.
