The Rinnerkogel or Augstkogel is a 2012 m above sea level. A. high summit in Upper Austria , in the west of the Dead Mountains . The Wildensee is located below the Rinnerkogel . The closest hut is the private Rinnerhütte of the Ebenseer Bergsteigerbund.
Climbs
There are several ways to climb the Rinnerkogel summit. The simplest and most popular variant leads from Offensee via the Rinnerhütte to the summit. Another route leads over the Ebenseer Hochkogelhaus and the Schönberg to the Rinnerkogel. The Rinnerkogel can also be reached from the Albert-Appel-Haus via the karst plateau.
