Ritthem is a Dutch village near the Scheldt estuary in the Dutch province of Zeeland on the Walcheren peninsula . The village has belonged to the municipality of Vlissingen since 1966 .
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1235.
Attractions
- The tower of the Protestant village church was built in the early 14th century and has a side stair tower. The nave dates from the 16th century
- Fort Rammekens is located a little south-east of the village on the Scheldt.
