The Rivella AG is a Swiss beverage manufacturer based in Rothrist . It was founded by Robert Barth in the 1950s . The family business has been managed by Erland Brügger since 2011, the chairman of the board of directors is the son of the founder, Alexander Barth. In 2016 the company employed 260 people. Well-known product is Rivella , of which 107 million liters were sold in 2015 in Switzerland, the Netherlands , Germany , Luxembourg , France , Austria and Australia . In 2019, Fluidfocus AG from Zurich , which specializes in vitamin water , was taken over.
