The River Conder is a river in Lancashire , England . The river rises at Conder Head on the north side of Clougha Pike in the Forest of Bowland and flows in a westerly direction until it curves north of the village of Quernmore to the south and passes this place in the west. The River Conder flows in a southerly direction until it passes under the M6 motorway south of Lancaster University and shortly afterwards it is passed under the Lancaster Canal in the south of Galgate . Thereafter, the River Conder describes an arc to the north on the branch canal of the Lancaster Canal to Glasson Dock and flows into the River Lune at Conder Green .
