The River Whitewater is a watercourse in Hampshire , England . It arises north of Upton Gray and flows north to its confluence with the Blackwater River. The confluence with the Blackwater River lies at the common corner of the borders of Surrey , Hampshire and Berkshire . To the west of North Warnborough , the River Whitewater passes under the Basingstoke Canal .
