Rivière-du-Loup is a regional county municipality ( French municipalité régionale du comté, MRC ) in the Canadian province of Québec .

It is located in the administrative region of Bas-Saint-Laurent and consists of 13 subordinate administrative units (one city, eight municipalities and four districts). The MRC was founded on January 1, 1982. The main town is Rivière-du-Loup . The population is 34,347 and the area 1768.20 km², which corresponds to a population density of 19.4 inhabitants per km².
