The River Rivière De Troyes is a tributary of the inland bay Lac Guillaume-Delisle in the west of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Québec in the Parc national Tursujuq .
The river has its source 25 km south of the Lac à l'Eau Claire lake . From there it flows in a west-northwest direction through the Canadian Shield . The Rivière à l'Eau Claire runs north of the Rivière De Troyes. The Rivière De Troyes flows after 81 km into the southern part of Lac Guillaume-Delisle. There are several rapids on its route.
The river used to be called Rivière Wiachuan and Rivière Wiyaschun . It was then named after Pierre de Troyes , who arrived in Québec in 1685 and led a military expedition in support of the Hudson's Bay Company the following year .
