It flows further west to Lac Mairaq , where it receives the right tributary Rivière Derville . Further west, the Rivière Durouvray also flows into the river from the right. The river Rivière Kovik finally flows into the Baie Kovik bay of Hudson Bay opposite Cape Paalliq and about 90 km north of the settlement Akulivik .
