Rivière Ouiatchouan is a river in the Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean administrative region in the Canadian province of Québec .

The river forms the outflow of the Lac des Commissaires . It then flows through the lakes Lac Bouchette and Lac Ouiatchouan . It flows below Lac Ouiatchouan 25 km through a wide valley in a northerly direction and flows into it near the historic settlement Val-Jalbert on the south bank of Lac Saint-Jean, which belongs to the city of Chambord .
