Rob Garrison

Rob Garrison (born January 23, 1960 in Wheeling , West Virginia , † September 27, 2019 there ) was an American actor .

Life

Garrison began his career in the late 1970s with small roles in film and television productions. He played his most famous role in 1984 at the side of Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita in Karate Kid . He represented Tommy, one of the karate students at Cobra Kai . He was also involved in the sequel Karate Kid II - Decision in Okinawa . Tommy was also his last role as a guest star on the 2019 TV series Cobra Kai .

Between the mid-1980s and the mid-1990s, he made appearances in numerous films and television series, but without making a major impression. After a guest appearance in Kung Fu - In the Sign of the Dragon in 1995, he did not appear as an actor for over 15 years.

Garrison died in a West Virginia hospital receiving treatment for problems with his kidneys and liver .
