Robert Bauder

Robert Bauder (born January 11, 1916 in Biel / Bienne ; † April 16, 1991 in Bern ) was a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

Bauder was an editor for the Bieler Tagblatt and the Journal du Jura . From 1946 to 1948 he was a city ​​councilor in Biel. From 1946 to 1954 he was the Bernese Grand Councilor . From 1949 to 1954 he was a part-time councilor of Biel . From 1946 to 1954 he was General Secretary of the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland . In 1954 he was elected to the government council of the canton of Bern, where he held the police direction, from 1969 also the military direction, and where he presided over the Jury delegation ; until 1955 he was in the National Council . In 1980 he resigned as a councilor.
