Robert Crépeaux

Robert Crépeaux (born October 24, 1900 in Grasse , † February 10, 1994 in Paris ) was a French chess player .

Crépeaux won the French championship in 1924, 1925 and 1941 . He won the city championship of Paris in 1942 with six points from six games. He took part with the French team at the Chess Olympiad in The Hague in 1928 and in Dubrovnik in 1950 , as well as the unofficial Chess Olympiad Chess Olympia 1936 in Munich . Robert Crépeaux belonged to the Paris club Caïssa and won the French team cup with them in 1948.

Crépeaux graduated from the École polytechnique and worked as a railway engineer. He was also an avid bridge player .
