Robert Deumer

Robert Deumer (born August 13, 1882 in Leipzig , † May 1956 in Karlstein near Bad Reichenhall) was a German lawyer .

Career

Deumer was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD . From 1913 he was a judge in Hamburg. In 1923 he became a director at the Reichsbank in Berlin . In 1936 he moved to the board of directors of the Deutsche Genossenschafts-Hypothekenbank, but his contract was not renewed in 1939 due to the small business volume of the institute. After the Second World War he was chairman of the supervisory board of the Bayerische Vereinsbank .

In the context of the 1933 bank survey, he worked as an expert and speaker for the cooperative system.

At the University of Munich he had a teaching position for cooperatives.
