Robert Friedrich Stieler (born June 15, 1847 in Heilbronn , † May 3, 1908 in Karlsruhe ) was a German landscape and architectural painter and draftsman .

Live and act

Stieler attended the art school in Stuttgart and the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. From 1884 he was professor of drawing at the TH Stuttgart . He made numerous architectural drawings , including from Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Maulbronn Monastery, as well as watercolor paintings. He was married to Pauline (nee Kochendörfer).
