Robert Geischläger

Robert Geischläger (born May 6, 1919 in Vienna ; † August 19, 2014 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), legal counsel and lawyer. From 1968 to 1970 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Geischläger grew up in Vienna-Hietzing and, after graduating from high school, studied law at the University of Vienna from 1937, interrupted by his service in the German armed forces, and obtained his doctorate in 1947. He also studied at the Vienna University of Technology and passed the bar exam in 1961. Professionally, Geischläger worked as a research assistant at the chair for international law and legal philosophy, and he was also a legal advisor to the Association of Vienna Theater Entrepreneurs. Politically, he worked as a district councilor in the Vienna district of Mariahilf and represented the ÖVP in the Austrian National Council between January 22, 1968 and March 31, 1970.

Since 1937 he was a member of the Catholic student union KaV Norica Vienna in the ÖCV .
