Robert Hartmann (born April 3, 1926 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Hartmann started playing football at SV Flegsen in 1946 and moved to SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 in 1949 , to which he belonged until 1952 , first in Group I, then in Group II of the 2nd Oberliga West . With the descent of his team in the Landesliga Mittelrhein he moved to Alemannia Aachen in the Oberliga West , one of five seasons as the highest German division. In the seasons 1952/53 and 1953/54 he played only eight point games, in which he scored two goals.

During his club membership, he played two games in the DFB Cup competition, in which he made his debut on August 17, 1952 in Herzogenrath in a 5-2 first-round victory over TuS Essen-West . His second game was the final on May 1, 1953 in the Düsseldorf Rheinstadion , which was lost 1: 2 to Rot-Weiss Essen ; the connecting goal by Jupp Derwall in the 56th minute was the only goal his team managed.
