Robert Hellmuth Hesse

Robert Hellmuth Hesse , actually Robert Hesse (born January 1, 1816 in Neukloster ; † May 28, 1885 in Wittenburg ; full name: Robert Hel (l) muth Eduard Hesse ) was a German doctor and 1848/49 member of the Mecklenburg Parliament .

Life

Hesse was the son of the forester Gustav Hesse and his wife Elisabeth, geb. Wegner. He attended the Große Stadtschule Wismar and studied human medicine at the Universities of Copenhagen , Berlin , Würzburg and, from November 1844, the University of Rostock . In 1847 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. He first practiced in Sternberg and from 1849 until the end of his life in Wittenburg . In Wittenburg he was also Domanial medical officer for the offices of Wittenburg and Walsmühlen .

In the first democratic election in Mecklenburg as a result of the revolution in Mecklenburg (1848) he was elected in October 1848 in the constituency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 42: Brüel as a member of the Mecklenburg parliamentary assembly. He joined the faction of the reform associations, the Left , later the Left Centrum , and was secretary of the committee for the development of city regulations.
