Robert John Armstrong (born December 17, 1884 in San Francisco , California , † January 14, 1957 ) was an American Roman Catholic bishop of Sacramento .

Life

Robert John Armstrong received on 10 December 1910, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 4, 1929, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Sacramento. The Bishop of Seattle , Edward John O'Dea , ordained him episcopal on March 12 of that year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Great Falls , Mathias Clement Lenihan , and the Bishop of Baker City , Joseph Francis McGrath .
