Robert "Bob" Lindberg (born December 31, 1945 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is a retired American ice hockey player .
Career
Lindberg started his professional career in 1968 in the Eastern Hockey League with the Johnstown Jets . In 1969 he moved to the International Hockey League for the Fort Wayne Komets . 1975 he transferred to Europe for EHC Biel in the National League A . There he won three Swiss championships with the EHC Biel in 1978, 1980 and 1983 . During his time in Biel, he formed the so-called L-Line together with his storm colleagues Steve Latinovich and Urs Lott . In total, Lindberg played 104 games for the Zealanders in the National League A and scored 133 points , including 72 goals and 61 assists . He was later inducted into the club's Hall of Fame as one of the most outstanding actors in the club's history.
