Robert Manzenreiter (born August 28, 1966 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian luge athlete who competed in both single and double-seater with Markus Schmidt . He started at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and 1992 in Albertville .

In 1984 he took part in the 1984 Junior World Championships in Bludenz together with his two-seater partner Markus Schmidt . They won the bronze medal behind the Soviet team and the team from the GDR.

At the Luge World Championships in 1991 in Winterberg and two years later at the Luge World Championships in Calgary in 1993 , he won the silver medal in the team competition. At the 1992 Winter Games, he finished sixth in the individual competition.

After his active career, he first worked as a training coordinator for the Austrian team from 2007 and later switched to the Igls ice rink as head of the track .

Robert Manzenreiter is the brother of bobsleigh athlete Sonja Manzenreiter , who also competed in three Olympic Games.
