Robert Newman
Robert Newman (born June 27, 1958 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .
Robert Newman played the role of Josh Lewis in the Springfield Story from 1981 to 1984 and from 1986 to 1991. Since 1993 he can be seen there again as one of the main characters. For his role he was nominated twice (2002, 2006) for an Emmy and four times (1989, 1990, 1998, 2000) for the Soap Opera Digest Award . In between, Newman was also seen in series such as California Clan , General Hospital and Hunter .
Robert Newman has been married to actress Britt Helfer since 1986 . The couple have a son and a daughter.
