Robert Sastre

Robert Sastre (born June 7, 1926 in Grand-Popo , Mono , Benin ; † January 16, 2000 ) was a Beninese clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Lokossa .

Life

Robert Sastre received on 21 December 1952, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 2, 1972, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Lokossa. The Assistant Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop of the Curia, Bernardin Gantin , ordained him as a bishop on August 6th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Cotonou , Christophe Adimou , and the Bishop of Lomé , Robert-Casimir Dosseh-Anyron .
