Robert Schiff (painter, 1934)

Robert Schiff (* 1934 in Timișoara , Kingdom of Romania ) is a German writer and painter from the Banat Swabian ethnic group .

Life

The large number of exhibitions of Robert Schiff's works included solo exhibitions in 1970, 1974 and 1978 in Timișoara, 1972 and 1977 in Bucharest , 1981 in Cologne , 2000 and 2001 in Munich and Traunreut , as well as numerous group exhibitions. Robert Schiff is also active in literature and publishes in magazines and anthologies . Together with Julia Schiff , he translated works by Márton Kalász from Hungarian . In 1997 he received first prize from the Nikolaus Lenau Foundation in Austria and second prize at the 2000 Banat literary competition . Robert Schiff has lived in Munich since 1981.

Robert Schiff is the husband of the writer Julia Schiff .
