Robert Schindlbeck

Robert Schindlbeck (born March 2, 1911 in Rosenheim , † December 14, 1999 in Hechendorf am Pilsensee ) was a German internist and professional representative.

From 1959 to 1977, Schindlbeck chaired the medical specialists for internal medicine in Bavaria. In 1960 he founded the Bavarian Congress of Internists . From 1963 to 1980 he was Vice President of the Professional Association of German Internists . In 1972 he received the Ernst von Bergmann plaque from the German Medical Association for services to advanced medical training and in 1976 the Bavarian Order of Merit . Since 1977 he has been honorary president of the Bavarian Internal Medicine Association and honorary chairman of the Bavarian Internal Medicine Congress. In 1985 the Günther Budelmann Medal was awarded by the Professional Association of German Internists and in 1988 the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class, by the German President Richard von Weizsäcker .

In 1946 he founded the private clinic Dr. Robert Schindlbeck in Herrsching am Ammersee (Bavaria). There he worked as chief physician until 1986.
