Robert Spit
Robert Cleon Spieß (born February 17, 1891 in Moscow ; † October 22, 1982 ) was a German tennis player and member of the Academic SV Dresden .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 , Spieß took part in the singles and doubles competition on the lawn. He reached the second round in the individual, but retired there against his compatriot Heinrich Schomburgk . With Luis Heyden in doubles he was defeated in the quarterfinals, here Ladislav Žemla and Jaroslav Just from Bohemia.
In 1912, Spieß was also German champion in men's singles .
