Robert Wazinger (born August 23, 1966 in Wattens ) is a former Austrian football player on the position of a defender . In 1989 and 1990, as well as from 2000 to 2002, he was five times Austrian champion with FC Tirol Innsbruck . Furthermore, he rose in 2002/03 with SpG Wattens / Wacker Tirol from the third class Regionalliga West to the second class first division and from there in 2003/04 he was promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga with the club again appearing as FC Wacker Tirol . Since 2008 he has been working as an assistant trainer at WSG Tirol (until 2019 WSG Wattens ), where he also briefly appeared as an interim trainer.

Today (as of November 2015) Wazinger, who was also affectionately called Wazi or Wazinho by the fans, lives in Volders .
