Roberta Taylor
Roberta Alexandra Mary Taylor (born February 26, 1948 in London , England ) is a British actress .
Life
Taylor made her acting debut in 1979 in an episode of the television series Crown Court . In the 1980s she mainly played theater in Glasgow . In 1990 she had one of her rare feature film appearances in Witches witches alongside Anjelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson . After a few guest appearances in series such as coroner Dr. Leo Dalton she got the role of Irene in the soap opera EastEnders in 1997, which she played in 245 episodes between 1997 and 2000. Between 2002 and 2008 she was Inspector Gina Gold in 289 episodes of the crime series The Bill .
Taylor is married to actor Peter Guinness .
