Roberto Carniello
Roberto Carniello (born December 3, 1917 in Villafranca Padovana , † February 26, 2001 ) was Roman Catholic Bishop of Volterra .
Life
Roberto Carniello was ordained a priest on July 6, 1941 .
Paul VI appointed him on April 2, 1967 auxiliary bishop in Concordia Sagittaria and titular bishop of Martanae Tudertinorum . The Bishop of Padua , Girolamo Bartolomeo Bortignon OFM , ordained him on 14 May of the same year Bishop ; Co- consecrators were Vittorio De Zanche , Bishop of Concordia Sagittaria , and Mario Zanchin , Bishop of Fidenza . In 1970 the Pope appointed him auxiliary bishop in Volterra and on October 7, 1975, bishop of Volterra. He resigned from his office on March 5, 1985.
