Mario Zanchin

Mario Zanchin (born December 3, 1912 in Fratte ; † September 19, 2003 ) was Bishop of Fidenza .

Life

Mario Zanchin was ordained a priest on July 7, 1935 .

Pope John XXIII appointed him Bishop of Fidenza on September 30, 1962 . The Bishop of Padua , Girolamo Bartolomeo Bortignon OFM , ordained him on 11 November of the same year Bishop ; Co- consecrators were Arrigo Pintonello , Military Vicar of Italy , and Giuseppe Stella , Bishop of Luni o La Spezia, Sarzana e Brugnato .

He was introduced to office on December 16, 1962. He attended every session of the Second Vatican Council . On August 13, 1988, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
