Arrigo Pintonello

Arrigo Pintonello (born August 18, 1908 in Rivale di Pianiga , † July 8, 2001 in Pomezia ) was Archbishop ad personam and Bishop of Terracina-Latina, Priverno e Sezze .

Life

Arrigo Pintonello was ordained a priest on October 9, 1932 .

Pius XII. appointed him on November 4, 1953 as military vicar of Italy and titular archbishop of Theodosiopolis in Arcadia . The Secretary of the Consistorial Congregation , Adeodato Giovanni Cardinal Piazza OCD , donated the bishops to him on November 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Carlo Confalonieri , Secretary of the Congregation for Seminars and Study Institutions , and Girolamo Bartolomeo Bortignon OFMCap , Bishop of Padua .

He participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 1, 1965 as Apostolic Administrator of Velletri . The Pope appointed him Bishop of Terracina-Latina, Priverno e Sezze on September 12, 1967 , retaining the personal title of Archbishop. He resigned from his office on June 25, 1971.
